Sunsets reflected in drifting clouds are captured through stop-motion and presented upside down, turning the sky into an active participant rather than a distant backdrop. Grain, dust, and traces of hand processing foreground the material presence of the film. The soundtrack, performed on a daxophone, produces vibrating tones that echo the shifting atmosphere.
